📅 Thursday 12th November | 6:30–8:30pm

📍 Matt Spencer Boardroom

Fancy a bit of political debate, a lot of biscuits, and the chance to put your mates in their place (respectfully, of course)? 👀

Come join the Labour Party Society for a chilled, fun and (occasionally!) heated evening of policy discussions, parliamentary-style debates, tea, coffee and an absolutely unreasonable amount of biscuits.

We’ll be debating motions YOU send in on the issues you actually care about, from the big questions in British politics to the things you’ve always wanted to argue about. Expect two-minute speeches, one-minute arguments for and against, friendly challenges and plenty of opportunities to get stuck in.

Never debated before? Perfect. Whether you’re a seasoned politics enthusiast, love a good argument, want to practise your public speaking, or just fancy a cuppa and a biscuit while chatting about the world, there’s a place for you.

And did we mention the snacks are FREE? 👀

Stick around afterwards and we might even head off for a cheeky Spoons. 🍻

So bring your opinions, bring your friends, and come ready to debate, disagree and have a laugh.
