We have arranged for a national trip to tour Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (The UK’s nuclear fusion facility). The trip will include a tour of the facilities including a talk on nuclear fusion and the opportunity to see the tokamaks being designed and produced there and talk to the scientists who work there.

The cost of the trip is £5, but does not cover the cost of transport. We will be traveling by train to Oxford in the morning on Monday 6th of December and returning the same way in the evening. Though members are welcome to make their own way to or from the centre in Oxford, we would encourage people to travel with the group. 

Capacity is limited to 20 students due to covid restrictions.
