“Time Well Spent” is about a South-Asian girl in her mid-20s, living at home with parents that expect a lot from her to live up to her "cultural standards", feeling lost in life. One thing she remembers, however, is the time she was at her happiest, was when she was at university with her friends. She tries to get the gang back together by inviting them all on a camping trip, each of them not knowing the others will be there. Determined to make everyone friends again, they laugh, they cry, and forget where they are. One friend disappears in the night, and the rest fight to survive as they are convinced someone has taken him. Will this experience bring them closer together again?
