Barts & The London Surgical Society is inviting you to our first ever Vascular Surgery Skills Day, taking place 19th of May 2023.

Talks and workshops will be centred around Vascular Surgery as a Career and will aim not only to answer any question about Vascular Surgery but to also teach relevant skills that are never found in the Medical School curriculum!

This event will take place at the Joseph Rotblat Building at the Charterhouse Square campus of the Barts and the London SMD. We will start off with talks from consultants about a career in vascular surgery as well as the training pathway. Then after a break for lunch we will proceed with the workshops. For the first time ever our society will have a wet lab workshop on live tissue as well as a vascular anastomosis, a vascular graft workshop and a microsurgery workshop!
