SOMEONE CALL THE MILITARY.
A GIANT MONSTER IS INVADING OUR CAMPUS.
AND WE ARE GOING TO RECORD HIM!
In this event, we will be making our own Monster Movies!
This has been inspired by the recent Oscar-winner Godzilla: Minus One and the upcoming Godzilla x Kong!
In teams, you will work together to:
- storyboard your ideas and plan your movie,
- make your Kaiju and sets,
- animate and record your movies,
- and then edit them, using sound effects and soundtracks from the films!
And we are going to all watch our movies and maybe give an Oscar to the best one!
If you would like to come, feel free to bring your own props, costumes, sets, miniatures and figures!
Your movie does not have to be based on Godzilla, or monsters at all!
You can make whatever kind of movie you like (within reason, of course)!
We will be providing art supplies and even a few pieces of actual movie equipment!
This will be a collaboration between:
- Art Society,
- Cinema Society,
- Japan Society and
- Filmmaking and Photography Society!
