About this event

Calling all first-year postgraduate research students!

To mark the end of your degree’s first year, the Students’ Union is hosting a Summer Celebration in The Griff, located on our Whitechapel campus.

This is a great opportunity to meet with other postgraduate researchers, celebrate the end of the academic term, and begin your first summer at Queen Mary!

There will be free pizza* and free non-alcoholic soft drinks, available between 4:00pm-5:30pm. From 5.30pm onwards, the bar will open so that researchers can purchase their own alcoholic drinks.

Book your free ticket now, and celebrate with us! The event is open for students from all faculties.

*Vegan, vegetarian, and halal options will be available, with gluten-free alternatives upon request.
