Students' Union Hub (Mile End)
About this event

Get ready to treat your taste buds! As part of Hindu Awareness Week 2025, join us on 23 October for the Taste of India Food Stall, hosted by Tushar Goyal, Vice President Science & Engineering. Experience the vibrant flavours of Indian street food by coming along to the Students' Union Hub — a perfect way to celebrate the richness of Hindu culture through one of its most joyful traditions: food!

From the spicy, tangy goodness of Dabeli — a Gujarati street snack bursting with peanuts, chutneys, and pomegranate — to the beloved Vada Pav, Mumbai’s iconic “Indian burger” filled with a spicy potato fritter and served with chutneys, every bite will transport you to the bustling food stalls of India.

Expect a lively atmosphere filled with warmth, music, and community as we come together to celebrate unity through food. Whether you’re trying these dishes for the first time or revisiting familiar flavours from home, this event promises to be a delicious highlight of the week.

Come hungry, bring your friends, and join us for an afternoon of culture, connection, and incredible Indian snacks!
