We will visit the Parkland Walk, a former railway converted to a walking path in North London. As well as taking break from work and spending time outdoors, the walk will also be accompanied by the healthy debate of whether the route presents more benefits as a walking route or a railway, and whether in the future, it should be converted back to a railway to help connect this comparatively sparsely served area of North London. We'll meet at Finsbury Park, walk through the park, join the Parkland Walk, and finish around Highgate.
This is an opportunity to deepen and share your knowledge of London’s transport networks as well as sustainable modes of transport. By engaging in healthy discussion over the positives and negatives of the Parkland Walk’s existence, you will strengthen your debate skills whilst meeting other people interested in London’s geography.
