Volunteering Group of the Year 2022/23
We are a student group that run 4 weekly sessions in the Healing Space in the Paediatrics ward of the Royal London Hospital. We operate during the play specialists ‘out-of-hours’ times and organize arts and crafts activities, teen clubs, games nights and themed sessions for the children and their siblings on the ward. Our aims are to relieve stress, boredom and pain from the children and provide a safe and friendly environment for them to chat, play and feel comfortable.

Please note that our Play Sessions are only open to medical and dental studetns due to training requirements by the hospital. However, we have craft kits making activites that are open to all students.
