Accounting and Finance Society

As the only Society at the Queen Mary specialising in the field of accounting and professional qualifications, the QMSU Accounting Society embraces a reputable portfolio of high-quality events aiming to raise commercial awareness and to inspire our members to take advantage of the breadth of opportunities available to them.

We aspire to create as many opportunities as possible for our members to:

• Gain insights into both Accountancy and Financial sectors.
• Network with representatives from different Accounting firms and financial institutions.
• Develop skills for the application process.
• Understand the breadth of opportunities available, not limited to just solely the accountancy sector.

We aim to achieve these through talks, skills workshops and business games. In addition, we strive to create a close community and provide help and support to our members through our many social events such as Networking events and Help Sessions.
