The Queen Mary Pool Society is a welcoming community for students who enjoy playing pool — whether you’ve never picked up a cue before or you’re an experienced player. We host casual socials and friendly tournaments, giving members the chance to improve their skills while meeting new people. Our society is all about creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where anyone can enjoy the game. Whether you’re looking to play competitively or just unwind after lectures with a few frames, the Pool Society is the perfect place to get involved.

Monday Pool: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Thursday Competitive Pool: 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Memberships
Social Membership
Monday Pool (6:30–8:00). Access to all socials.
A £2 weekly ticket is required for Monday Pool. Tickets will be available on Wednesday Midday prior to the pool session.
Competitive Membership
Monday Pool and Thursday Competitive Pool (6:30–8:00). Access to all socials. Competition entry fees are covered by us.
A £2 weekly ticket is required for Monday Pool. Thursday Pool does not need a weekly ticket.
Venue Membership
This is separate from QMUL Pool Club and is required to use the Mile End American Pool & Snooker facilities; it must be purchased in person, is valid for three years, and requires a valid Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) student ID card.
You need both society membership and the venue membership to play.
