Welcome to GEPSoc 2020/2021!
GEPSoc was officially formed in 2017, so this is its fourth year running and we're excited to keep the momentum going and getting as many of you involved as possible.
Our aim this year is to continue to provide year-round academic advice as well as improve non-academic support to the new first year Graduate Entry Medicine Programme students.
In affiliation with CLASS and MESS we will be running revision sessions covering areas assessed in the In Course Assessments (ICAs) and end of year examinations*. This includes PBL, spotter, anatomy and clinical skills based sessions, which should help clear up any gaps in knowledge and give you a feel for what the exams will actually be like.
We now have a website, which will be updated with resources throughout the year:
https://blgepsoc.wixsite.com/gepsoc?
We will also be holding regular social events from casual drinks in The Griff, to the GEP ball! We have a lot in the pipeline for the coming year. We plan these carefully in line with your ICAs to ensure that you can enjoy some well deserved time off outside of the lecture hall.
Any questions send us an email - bl.gepsoc@gmail.com or contact us personally.
Thanks!

*Due to academic regulation by the medical school we are unable to deliver academic content as a society independently. We have teamed up with CLASS and MESS to deliver content on their behalf to get around this. For this reason all academic content is freely available for both members and non-members of GEPSOC.
