Welcome to GEPSoc 2020/2021!
GEPSoc was officially formed in 2017, so this is its fifth year running and we're excited to keep the momentum going and getting as many of you involved as possible.
Our aim this year is to continue to provide year-round academic advice as well as improve non-academic support to the new first year Graduate Entry Medicine Programme students.
In affiliation with CLASS and MESS we will be running revision sessions covering areas assessed in the progress test and end of year examinations*. This includes PBL, data interpretation, anatomy and clinical skills based sessions, which should help clear up any gaps in knowledge and give you a feel for what the exams will actually be like.
We will also be holding regular social events from casual drinks in The Griff, to the GEP ball! We have a lot in the pipeline for the coming year. We plan these carefully in line with your assignments to ensure that you can enjoy some well deserved time off outside of the lecture hall.

*Due to academic regulation by the medical school we are unable to deliver academic content as a society independently. We have teamed up with CLASS and MESS to deliver content on their behalf to get around this. For this reason all academic content is freely available for both members and non-members of GEPSOC.
