Welcome to GEPSoc 2023/2024!
Founded in 2017, GEPSoc is a peer-led society of Graduate Entry Medicine students here at Barts and the London. We know what it takes to get through the year, and we're keen to give it our all to help you through too! We've seen a lot of success in previous years and now in our seventh consecutive year running, we're keen to keep the momentum going and get as many of you involved as possible!
Our aim this year is to continue to provide year-round academic advice as well as non-academic support to the new first year Graduate Entry Medicine Programme (GEP) students.
In affiliation with CLASS and MESS we will be running revision sessions covering areas assessed in the progress test and end of year examinations*. This includes problem-based learning (PBL), data interpretation, anatomy and clinical skills based sessions, which should help clear up any gaps in knowledge and give you a feel for what the exams will actually be like.
We will also be holding regular social events from casual drinks in The Griff, to outdoor events! We have a lot in the pipeline for the coming year. We plan these carefully in line with your assignments to ensure that you can enjoy some well deserved time off outside of the lecture hall.

*Due to academic regulation by the medical school we are unable to deliver academic content as a society independently. We have teamed up with CLASS and MESS to deliver content on their behalf to get around this. For this reason all academic content is freely available for both members and non-members of GEPSOC.
