Women in Healthcare

Welcome to Women in Healthcare! We are a society dedicated to supporting women and women-identifying people at Barts in their journey here. 

With a committee comprising over 40 students, we run regular weekly and monthly events aimed at students of all year groups and courses at Barts. This includes a mentorship programme, social events, academic events with guest speakers, outreach events within the greater East London community, and an annual conference at the end of the academic year.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, we plan to continue all of these activities again in addition to various new society events that we will host this year!

Buy subs to get monthly emails to keep up to date with what we’re up to. Sub-paying members will also be given certificates of attendance for events and schemes they are a part of - important for portfolios!

• Standard membership is for Barts and QM students
• Associate membership is for external students. This way you can still access the benefits of being a sub paying member of our society.

Upcoming Events

🇵🇸 Charity Event for Palestine: Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Palestine. On 27/11/25, 6pm - 7pm, in the MLT, Garrod, Whitechapel Campus. Tickets are £4 – available online or on the day! All proceeds will be going to Palestine via MSF.

🎨🖌️ Sip and Paint: Come join us for a relaxing evening, full of fun, painting and food! Take a break from studies and meet new friends whilst painting something you love. See you on 08/12/25 at 6pm-7.30pm in the Recovery Room, Garrod, Whitechapel Campus.
