About:

Queen Mary Women’s Futsal is an inclusive sports club with very experienced coaches behind the club. We welcome players of all abilities and are a team made up of both QM and Barts students. Our main aim is to grow the Women’s futsal community by getting more women involved in this amazing sport. Futsal is currently the fastest growing indoor sport in the world and significantly improves your technical skills in tight spaces and makes you an overall more confident player. 

Feel free to come and join us whether you’ve never played futsal before or are an experienced player. 

 

Our taster session:

Date: 1st October 2023 (Sunday) 

Time: 15:00 - 17:00

Location: Qmotion Sports Hall

What you will need to bring: Comfortable sportswear and indoor trainers/futsal shoes.

Trainings and competitions:

Training sessions are held at Bow School every Tuesday from 17:30 - 19:00.

We will compete in the Women’s South Eastern Tier 1 and the National Trophy, making us one of three sports clubs in Queen Mary to compete in Tier 1. Games are played on Saturday on a home and away basis. Home games will be played at Leyton Score centre.

 

How to join the club?

  2. Attend our taster session (1st October 2023). 
  3. Purchase your subs either online, the hub (Mile end) or BLSA reception (Whitechapel).
  4. Enjoy! Take part in the weekly training sessions and competitions.
