Human Rights Society

About

It aims to educate and spread the word among people about human rights, as well as raise voices against any forms of discrimination, oppression, and injustice happening around.

                              WELCOME TO HUMAN RIGHTS SOCIETY

As people from many walks of life are accommodated in one location, including staff, students, and other stakeholders, Queen Mary University is considered among the most diversified universities. This multiformity leads to a variety of opinions and beliefs. People sometimes want their convictions to be recognised and put forward. Human Rights Society will intervene in these circumstances to offer a secure forum for people to voice their opinions, discuss any worries, and educate students at large about the rising global human rights struggle. This society will endeavour to provide a medium to channel thoughts and emotions from a wide-ranging group and to create a safe space to acknowledge increasing worldwide human rights violations at a university level. Human Rights is a concept embedded deep in almost every aspect of life such as the infringement or relevance of human rights in the corporate world that most people are inclined towards, making it a more relevant subject matter to be considered today.
