Connect and educate students interested in human rights, be involved in local issues and take a stand against the injustices of our time.
Welcome to the Human Rights Society, Queen Mary's greatest humanitarian society. Recently set up and preparing for a big 2025/26, there will never be a better time to join us and make your mark.
By joining us, you will be part of our efforts to:
Raise awareness around issues of human rights from legal, social, moral, political, and economic perspectives
Where necessary, take a stance on issues of human rights
Support students (like you) to pivot into a career in human rights
Make a contribution to the local community - especially by involving ourselves in efforts against poverty
Join the Human Rights Society and we will make your voice heard now and in the future.
