Hi! We are Teddy Bear Hospital Malta! The first volunteering society at QMUL Malta Campus 🧸
We are a student-led society that continues to bring imagination, compassion, and community engagement to life. Our aim is to ease children’s anxieties around healthcare by connecting medical students with local schools and communities through the universal language of play.
These sessions help children feel more comfortable in healthcare settings and give students the unique opportunity to practise communication skills, health education, and child-centred care in a light-hearted environment. Most importantly, it is the perfect opportunity to heal Gozo’s teddy bears!
