Hi everyone!

We are Barts' official Women In Surgery Society. Although women now make up the majority of medical graduates, they remain underrepresented in surgical careers and continue to face prejudice in the workplace - especially in surgery.

As a society our mission statement is:

• Enhancing Professional Development

Throughout the year we organise hands on workshops, host talks from various different female surgeons, have relaxed socials other non-academic activities.
