Women's Social Club

Welcome to the Women's Social Club!

The WSC is a space for women at Queen Mary to meet people, make real friends and enjoy their time here. It's so easy to end up only seeing the same few people from your course or your flat, and that can get lonely fast, even when everyone around you seems to have it sorted. This club exists to change that. 

We're all about community. Bringing women together across different courses, years, cultures and backgrounds, so university feels less like something you're getting through on your own and more like something you're sharing with people who actually get it. 

Throughout the year we will do coffee catch-ups, picnics, walks, games nights and creative sessions, along with wellbeing events, workshops, and the odd charity or fundraising get-together. Some events are small and chilled, some are bigger, but the idea is always the same: turn up as you are, whether that's with a friend or completely alone, and leave having chatted to someone new. 

You don't need to know anyone before you come. 

You don't need to be the loudest person in the room or have your whole life together. 

You just need to want a little more connection in your week, and that's exactly what we're here for. So if any of this sounds like you, come and say hello. We'd love to meet you, and we think you'll love being part of this too.
