We are a friendly three-weapon club focused on improving fencers of all standards from introducing total beginners to the sport to developing our highly competitive members as well. Our focus is on participation and development; however, we still compete seriously and to a high standard in BUCS events as well as strongly encouraging wider participation in fencing events including national ranking tournaments.

QMSU also runs an Introductory Fencing course for those looking to learn. It's a 10 week course led by an expert coach and costs just £25 so is a really fun and affordable way to get involved. Sabre:Lite is also a Get Active weekly session which is a simplified version of Fencing and is a great introduction to the sport. Visit the Get Active site for more information.
We have a very active and friendly community, all are welcome to get involved in our socials. We have socials every Saturday after training and have post-match socials on Wednesdays.

President: Wiktor Olszewski ( firstname.lastname@example.org )
My name is Wiktor and I am the QMBL Fencing president for the academic year 2020-2021. If you have any questions about our amazing club just send me an email and I promise, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Whether you’re an experienced fencer or a beginner we have great programmes to offer. If you are new to fencing, we have fantastic Novice or SabreLite sessions where you’ll have a chance to develop your skills with the help of our skilled fencers. More experienced fencers will be happy to join our Saturday sessions with sparring under the supervision of a professional coach.
This year is going to be very challenging for all of us. However, we have an amazing committee this year and we’ll do all we can to make it run as smoothly as possible!
Hope to hear from you soon!
