Barts and The London Cardiology Society was founded to bring together students with a passion for the heart — whether you’re simply curious, or already considering a career in cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery.

Throughout the year we will be organising events such as:

• Talks from leading cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons

• Practical workshops to develop skills required for a career in cardiothoracic surgery

• Tips and advice on research, SSCs, and career pathways

• A friendly, supportive community of students who share your interest in cardiovascular medicine

• Our Annual conference — the biggest event of the year.

Check us out on Instagram @cardiosoc to see what we got up to last year and sign up to our mailing list to receive all the latest updates!

We’re here to inspire, teach, and connect!
