Queen Mary Commercial Awareness Society was founded with the purpose of elevating STEM, law, and non-law students' understanding of current affairs and the effects on the dynamic legal and commercial sectors.
At QMCAS, we are proud to have a diverse executive committee that campaigns for commercial awareness. With over 4,000 followers across Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, our platforms allow us to reach a wide range of students with 40% of our members being from non-law and STEM backgrounds.
QMCAS is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion across the campus.
Commercial Awareness is a skill that is obtained through keeping up with things going on in the world and understanding the implications therein. It is a skill that demonstrates you understand how businesses operate and how they may be affected by current affairs. Having commercial awareness is key within professional roles and is highly sought-after by employers.
