The PhD forum is a committee that represents PhD students at Barts Cancer Institute, and organises events and socials for our members. Our established events include monthly ‘Chatty Thursdays’, an informal event with a different theme each week, such as Q&A sessions with final year PhD students, career insights from scientists working in industry and external guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds. We also arrange the annual BCI PhD day where PhD students are given the opportunity to showcase their research to staff and students across the institute.
