Welcome to Queen Mary Cricket Club (QMCC)
We are a student-led club based at QMUL, and welcome players of all abilities and studies, from first year undergraduates to masters students and alumni, from beginners to county-level players.
Our club is relatively small, and we have a close-knit group of players, many of whom have played for the club throughout their university studies.
In terms of competitions, our schedule spans the entire academic year. In the first semester we look to organise a series of indoor friendlies to keep our squad active and sharp. In the summer term we compete in both outdoor BUCS and LUSL. BUCS is an 40 over league against other London and South East institutions. LUSL is a T20 league against other London institutions. All of these matches take place between April and June.
Another very popular competition is the Indoor Social League, which takes place at the Mile End campus, and involves QM students from various different courses playing against each other in a friend but competitive league. This is our main recreational offer, and is always extremely popular amongst all of our members, so be sure to get involved.

QMCC will be exhibiting our sign-up stand alongside all the other societies on campus, come down and say hi and we'll be more than happy to answer any questions about everything and anything.
Taster Session
Date and Time: Wednesday 23rd September, 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: Leyton County Cricket Ground, 2 Crawley Rd, London E10 6RJ
Equipment Needed: Training kit / sports clothing, cricket kit if you can bring it along with you.
Team Selection Process: There will be opportunity for all who join to play in matches throughout the year. Players will be assessed in each training session so anyone could get a call up to future matches depending on performance. The outdoor team selection will take place after the winter break in the second semester. We will encourage everybody to participate in the Queen Mary Indoor Cricket Social League that will run across both semesters.

Women's Team! - New for 26/27
Over the past few years, the women's game has experienced exponential growth, and at QMCC, we believe it is vital to support this by starting a grassroots university team. Because this is our inaugural year, our primary focus is on building a strong foundation. The team will focus exclusively on weekly net sessions to develop skills and team cohesion. Looking ahead to future years, our goal is to expand into playing friendly matches against local universities and eventually competing in leagues.
