BL LGBT+ Society

A society set up to create a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for all LGBTQ+ students studying at Barts and The London. We also have associate memberships for those who aren’t part of Barts and The London but would like to get involved.

Events include fun-filled socials as well as more academically focused events, from cozy picnics and evenings out to lectures and discussion nights from inspirational speakers. We’ll be running cultural film nights celebrating the best in LGBTQ+ cinema, PowerPoint nights, study evenings and unique activites such as drag events which no other society can provide. Our society also works to ensure the curriculum and student experience at BL are LGBTQ-friendly.
