Social:

Previously in Maths Soc...

Many social events were held last year including a welcome pizza party, ice-skating, bowling and paint-balling!
Collaboration with Baking Society for Pi-Day!
Many opportunities to socialise and meet new people!

Now in Maths Soc...

Celebrate Pi Day with us and enjoy a sweet treat!
We also plan to host a pizza party, movie night, and ice-skating in the upcoming months, and collab with other societies too!
We're open to any suggestions that other members might have throughout the year!

Academic:

Weekly Undergraduate Research Seminars in collaboration with a team of PhD students from the Maths school.
Monthly seminars delivered by lecturers and professors.
Expand your network through talks with external speakers reaching beyond Mathematics.

Careers:

We are working with several companies expanding our careers offerings.
We have talks covering life in Academia to using Maths in Business.
We are proud to host events helping our members network with banking companies, and advice from PhD students and professors.
