In a perfect world clubs and pubs would be ready to welcome wheelchair-using attendees at any time, but this is not yet consistently the case. We have compiled a list of London’s more wheelchair accessible pubs and clubs for your next night out!
Pubs
Big Penny Social - Walthamstow
Big Penny Social is home to one of the largest beer gardens in London and has plenty of space to maneuver with a wheelchair. There is a changing schedule of events, including live music, sports, craft markets, and comedy shows.
Accessibility: Spacious layout; large open beer garden

Fourpure Taproom - Bermondsey
Located on the Bermondsey Beer Mile, Fourpure Taproom has a range of beers and pizza for you to enjoy.
Accessibility: Wide, open taproom

Gigi’s Hoxton - Hoxton
Gigi’s Hoxton works to provide a fun space for all its patrons. They have accessible access across the whole ground floor, with easy access to a disabled toilet, as well as a wheelchair accessible bar. They are committed to making sure their disabled customers have the same experience as any other.

Clubs
Fabric - Farringdon
Fabric is a renowned London nightclub and a cornerstone of the electronic music scene in London. It is famous for its commitment to high-quality sound and an immersive clubbing experience.
Getting There: There is step-free access from street to platform at Farringdon Station. There are no disabled bays on the same road, but Blue Badge spaces are available in the NCP on Saffron Hill.
Entrance and Staff: The entrance barriers can be moved to allow wheelchair access and tickets can be scanned away from the cashiers to avoid stairs. The door and venue staff have completed disability-awareness training
Inside the Club: Elevators give access to Room One, the mezzanine floor, Room Two, and the sunken bar. There’s a ramp providing access between Room One and Room Two. Room Three and the smoking area are inaccessible, although wheelchair-users are allowed to smoke at the club’s exit door. There is an access point at the mezzanine bar which is specifically for wheelchair users.
Facilities: There are accessible toilets on both the mezzanine and ground floor.
Companion Tickets: The club offers one complimentary ticket for those accompanying disabled customers, you must contact staff for more information.
Corsica Studios - Elephant & Castle
Corsica Studio, located in railway arches in Elephant and Castle, is known for its underground, intimate atmosphere and diverse programming. It hosts a variety of events from techno and house music nights to live gigs and art exhibitions.
Getting There: Elephant and Castle, the closest tube station, does not offer step-free access. The closest Blue Badge parking is on Hampton Street, around the corner from the club.
Entrance and Staff: The venue entrance is accessible. Staff have been given disability awareness training, and the club operates on a ‘buddy system’ to provide support to disabled customers.
Inside the Club: The entrance and both dance floors are on the same level, with access to the smoking area via the rear entrance of the main room. There are stairs leading up to the first floor, but this is only to access the non-disabled toilets.
Facilities: Yes, on the ground floor.
Companion Tickets: There are free companion tickets available, but you must email the club in advance so that their name can be added to the list.
Printworks - Canada Water
Printworks is a large-capacity music and arts venue located in a former newspaper printing factory. It hosts a wide range of events, including music concerts, club nights, and exhibitions.
Getting There: Canada Water Station, which is the nearest tube stop, has step-free access from train to street and is less than half a mile from the venue. There are a limited number of parking spaces for Blue Badge holders outside the venue, which can only be booked in advance. Anyone wishing to do so should contact the venue directly.
Entrance and Staff: The main entrance is accessible and on the same level as the box office.
Inside the Club: There is a lift on Level Zero that has a dedicated accessibility steward and allows access to all floors, The main performance spaces are all on Level One, although some shows will incorporate multiple floors.
Facilities: There is an accessible toilet outside the venue on the lake path, just as you come out of Canada Water. It will be locked, but a steward will be able to give you access. Inside the venue, there is a signposted disabled toilet within the main toilet block. Again, it will be locked, but a steward will be able to let you in.
Companion Tickets: Companion Tickets are available, but you must contact the venue directly.
Studio 338 - North Greenwich
Studio 338 is an electronic music venue in Greenwich, known for one of the largest terrace arenas in Europe and a world-class sound system.
Getting There: North Greenwich tube station offers step-free access from train to street and just over a mile away from the club. If you notify the venue prior to your arrival, disabled parking spots can be arranged in the building’s car park
Entrance and Staff: The entrance is accessible, and all the venue's door and medical staff have received disability awareness training.
Inside the Club: The ground floor area of the club, which includes the main dance floor, main bar, garden, and terrace bar, is fully accessible. The VIP area, however, which is up a flight of stairs, cannot accommodate wheelchair-users.
Facilities: There are accessible toilets on the ground floor.
Companion Tickets: Companion Tickets are available if you give the venue prior notice.
XOYO - Old Street
XOYO is a popular nightclub in Shoreditch, known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse music policy.
Getting There: The nearest tube station, Old Street, has no step-free access.
There aren’t any disabled parking spaces on the same road as the venue, but, if notified in advance, the club can arrange for a space to be reserved right outside the entrance. The nearest designated disabled bay is on Provost Street, less than half a mile away.
Entrance and Staff: The club entrance is accessible.
Inside the Club: Once inside the venue, there is a small flight of stairs up to the floor that houses the smaller dancefloor, and a large flight of stairs down to the main room. However, a lift can be used to go between the two floors.
Facilities: There is an accessible toilet on each floor.
Companion Tickets: Companion tickets are available, contact the venue for more information.
