The Union’s Elite Athlete programme has been recently established to ensure that our student athletes are able to compete at the highest level whilst studying for a world class degree.
The programme offers an elite athlete package to selected high performing students competing in BUCS sports, who demonstrate aspirations to progress and achieve high levels of success within their sport.
The programme currently supports 10 QMUL students by covering various costs associated with performing at an elite level, such as kits, competition entry fees and accomodation, staff mentoring, and training and physiotherapy.
