We have two liberation intern roles to support student engagement with our liberation work. We have recently adjusted the way our liberation work is run, encouraging a more flexible approach to increase the amount of liberation work we can do. This is a really exciting opportunity for two students to support a variety of liberation activity and work.  If you are passionate about liberation and want to make a positive difference in your Students' Union this could be the job for you!

Please read through the job description below carefully to ensure you meet the requirements before applying. Only students who will be enrolled at Queen Mary University of London in the 2026-2027 academic year can apply for this role. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.

To apply, please complete and submit your online application form before the deadline of 9am (BST) Friday 17th August 2026.

Queen Mary Students' Union is proud to be an Equal Opportunities employer and we are committed to equality of opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability status, class or any other dimension of diversity. Reasonable adjustments will be made at each stage of the recruitment process for any candidate with a disability. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates as this group is currently under-represented within the Union.
