We're seeking to recruit a student-based internship role to support the day-to-day administration and development of the QMSU Club Sport programme.
The Club Sport programme currently supports around 56 affiliated clubs, their student committees, around 50 BUCS teams and 37 LUSL teams. Across the academic year, this involves managing a minimum of around 800 fixtures, alongside facilities, competitions, finance, communications, club development and events.
The Club Sport Intern will provide additional support to the Club Sport Coordinator across the day-to-day running of the programme. This will mainly involve regular administration, checking information, maintaining trackers, supporting communication with clubs and keeping club systems and documents organised.
The intern will work closely with the Club Sport Coordinator and have clear areas of responsibility, focusing on tasks that have established processes and can be completed consistently. The role will also provide the successful candidate with practical experience of working within a university sports programme, including BUCS and LUSL administration, facilities, data management, communications and supporting student sports clubs and committees.
