Entertainments Officer (BL) 1

About the role:

What would student life be without events and activities? The Entertainments Officer works as part of the Operations Team with the VP Barts (Operations) to organise BLSA events. You’ll liaise with other elected officers and staff to coordinate and promote events and activities to students. The Entertainments Officers also convene and coordinate the Barts and The London Entertainments Committee. This is a non-representative position and does not sit on Student Council.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the organisation of Barts and the London events
• Developing new events ideas
• Promote BLSA events and other events and activities to students, including creation of promotional materials
• Chair and coordinate the BLSA Entertainment Committee
• Collaborate with BLSA elected officer and staff to coordinate the organisation and promotion of events

Meetings that I attend:

• BLSA Malta Board (2 hour meeting, six times a year)
• Meetings with Students’ Union’s Events and Venues Team
