About the role:

The Malta Board is core to the strategy and operations of Malta students, and the Secretary is responsible for supporting this core part of the organisation. The Secretary works closely with the President of the BLSA to set dates for the meetings, promote the meetings, take minutes, and ensure the meetings are operating smoothly. This is a non-representative position and does not sit on Student Council.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Attend relevant meetings within the Students’ Union and the university (see list of compulsory meetings below)
  • Set dates for the Malta Board in collaboration with the BLSA President
  • Promote the BLSA Board meetings to increase engagement
  • Take accurate minutes of the BLSA Board meetings
  • Support the general operations of the BLSA Board
  • Provide other administrative support as agreed with the BLSA President
  • Provide regular updates on your work

 

Meetings that I attend:
  • BLSA Board (2 hour meeting, six times a year)
