What is it?
This is an exclusive programme for students living in QM Halls of Residence. Each time you take part in and complete an activity you will accumulate points (10 points per activity) & in return for points you will win some prizes!
- 60 Points = £6 Curve voucher
- 120 Points = Exercise mat
- 240 Points = QM t-shirt

Step 1: Download the Playwaze App and/or access the platform through the website here.
Step 2: Join the QMSU Sport Community and register for QM Halls Exercise & Rewards Programme
Step 3: Complete the quick survey
Step 4: View the activities on offer and sign up for the session you want to attend
Step 5: Attend the sessions and start accumulating points
Step 6: Once you get enough points claim your prize!
Why Get Involved?
Apart from winning free stuff there is evidence to support how it can help improve your university experience and even improve your grades whilst studying at Queen Mary.
Regular exercise can:
- Improve academic achievement and enjoyment of university life
- Boost your immune system, preventing you getting sick
- Improve your ability to concentrate
How do I join a the community?
Log in/create an account on the Playwaze app or website. If you already have a BUCS Play account, please log in with these details.
Under 'Find my Community' type in Exercise & Reward Community & the QM Halls Community will appear - click on the tab to enter the community.
How do I log my activity?
The app will track your points as you take part in each activity. Your points will be displayed on your Playwaze profile.
How many points do I get per activity?
Each activity is worth 10 points.
How do I claim my prize?
Once you have reached your activity milestone, its time to claim your free prize - The app will notify you when you have achieved your goal.
Bring evidence of your points (either your app or a screen shot of your website points profile) and your student ID and your Residents' Rewards Card to reception in any of the below locations:
- France House (Mile End residents) - Monday to Friday between 14:00 - 18:00.
- Aspire Point Reception - Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00.
- Sherren House Reception - Monday to Thursday 12:00 - 20:00 & Friday between 10:00 - 18:00.
- Students living at Dawson Hall and Floyer House should email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a collection time from the foyer of your building.
How do I get involved in more sport and physical activity sessions?
All of the different sporting offers and opportunities are available on the QMSU Sport Website and QM Halls Website.

Who is running this programme?
This programme of activities is a joint venture delivered by Residential Support and Queen Mary Students Union. We have received funding from British University and College Sport (BUCS) and Sport England to run this project.
