Postgraduate Hub

Welcome to your Postgraduate Hub

Welcome to your Postgraduate Hub! This section of the QMSU website sets out to explain what your Students’ Union can do for you, as a postgraduate student, as well as how you can get involved! From events and news to student voice and democracy, the Students’ Union is just as important to postgraduates as it is at undergraduate level.

Queen Mary Students’ Union is a student-led organisation to support you during your time at university. We’re a not-for-profit organisation, and separate from the University, which means we host our own activities and events, as well as ensuring to hold the University accountable for issues affecting students. Over the past year, we have set out to increase the engagement of postgraduates within our structures, to ensure your Students’ Union is both reflective and supportive of what you want to take away from your time at Queen Mary.

On this webpage, you will also find tailored feeds for postgraduate events and news. Your interests and priorities differ from undergraduates, and we know that! With the new Postgraduate Hub, you can get all important information from the Students’ Union that you need to know shown directly to you!

Postgraduate Consultation Group (PGCG)

Tell us what it is like to be a postgraduate researcher at QM (and get paid to do it).

Signups for the PGCGs for this academic year (2025/26) are currently closed. Applications may reopen in January for the second semester, so keep an eye out on your inbox for any updates!
