Hello to all my fellow teddy doctors and dentists!!
My name is Bertha Lee, and I am a second year medical student.
Being a part of the volunteering team for Teddy Bear Hospital has been one of the best decisions I have made because I absolutely enjoyed every TBH clinic every Wednesday.
Having had the experience of being a regular TBH volunteer every week, I believe I carry all the qualities and elements that can makes me the perfect candidate as a team leader!
Here are some qualities and fun facts about me:
- Friendly and easy-going - I am always open for any sorts of questions, no matter it is about TBH volunteering, medical school or even tips for cooking
- Motivating and optimistic - I will make sure every clinic is going to fun and relaxed for all of our teddy doctors and dentists, so that you won't feel shy to approach if any sorts of problem comes up during the clinic
- An excellent listener - I am great at listening, and I will try my best to come up with a solution to every difficult situation if needed!
- Extremely committed towards TBH - I was awarded the Silver Award for participating TBH last year
- Passionate about paediatrics and child health
- Experienced as a team leader - I am currently a team leader for SAMDA and I am leading school visits for aspiring medical and dental students
- Fun fact: I have a loud voice which is very useful for leading clinics, if you know you know ;)
