It was my pleasure to serve as the co - president for BL US 2021/22 and without question I have loved being a part of this wonderful society and seeing it grow exponentially throughout the year. This is something I wish to continue to be involved in and therefore I feel that this role would be ideal! This year I wish to collaborate on more events with other societies, organise more cultural and social events as we transition back to normality and facilitate more opportunities such as conference presentations in the US as well as more events focussed on how to organise an elective over in the states for more senior students. Having served in the society for the past two years I feel that I will be a valuable assest for new incoming committee members and having organised a wide range of events last year I have a good understanding of what sorts of events BL US members really want. I look forward to continue helping this wonderful society flourish hopefully as the new general secretary!
