Breast Surgery Workshop Series – October

To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are excited to launch our Breast Surgery Workshop Series, introducing medical students to the specialty while raising funds and awareness for breast cancer.

Each session will feature a guest speaker sharing their journey into breast surgery, followed by an interactive practical workshop providing students with hands-on experience of different breast surgical techniques.

Our third session will be a Lumpectomy/Axillary Node Clearance Workshop, led by Ms Natasha Jiwa, Consultant Breast Surgeon at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Ms Jiwa will discuss her pathway into breast surgery before leading a practical session exploring the principles and techniques of lumpectomies.
