What better way to finish the year than spending one last night in QMSU’s very own Club Tropicana? QMSU have teamed up with QM Young Greens, QMBL Underground Music Society and QM Netball to present SUMMER OF LOVE! With many of you jetting off to a summer full of festivals, beaches and relaxation, this is your last time to experience the full glory of Drapers Bar and Kitchen!
This time around, we will be raising money for CoppaFeel and Youth Roots. CoppaFeel exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save their life. Youth Roots support young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and overseas to improve their lives and fulfil their potential.
ROOM 1: QMYGs will be transporting you through the very threads of time to bring you absolute certified summer bangers, from the 70’s to the current day. Expect a psychedelic extravaganza, sure to make the end of term party pop.
ROOM 2 : Hosted by UMS DJs Will Harrison (Suleyman) and Matt Burton (MLB) bringing a clash of sounds from the underground music spectrum. They will be playing Garage and House sets that take you back to the 90s rave scene on our infamous 10,000W SOUNDSYSTEM!

We wanna see full-on summer realness this time around. We’re talking tie-dye, sunnies, dungarees, printed shirts and anything else that personifies those summer months! There will be prizes TBA for the best outfits, so get planning! As always, we will be on hand to provide glitter showers for a small donation, along with neon face paints.
