IAM: Hijabs, Henna and Small Business Pop-Up

Thursday 30 November 2023, 1pm - 4pm

Students' Union Hub
About this event

Join us for our Islamophobia Awareness Month event in the Students' Union Hub. This is your opportunity to find out more about why Muslim women wear the hijab and why it is significant and important. There'll also be a range of hijabs to try on and wear.

We're also bringing in a lovely henna artist who will be creating some beautiful designs throughout the event so students can get their henna done.

The event will also feature a range of small businesses who will be showcasing and selling their products.

This event is being organised by Aisha Qadi, your Vice President Science & Engineering.
