Following the success of last year's event, we are running our second annual
Queen Mary Maths Society Conference!
We invite anyone to do a short presentation on any area of mathematics you wish, this could be your area of research, a project you're working on or simply something you find really interesting! Presentations should be about 15 to 20 minutes in length.
If you do not wish to present something, then come along for an evening of new and interesting areas of mathematics.
The event will be followed by a food and drinks reception and a chance for networking. We will also have a small thank you gift for everyone who does a presentation.
This is a brilliant opportunity to practice your presentation skills in front of an audience of friends and fellow maths lovers! We want this to be a fun and friendly conference where the key focus is on sharing ideas. A conference schedule will be released before the event.
If you wish to present, please email qm.maths@gmail.com with a brief description about your talk and the expected length of the presentation. The deadline for this is 6pm Friday 3rd March 2017.
