To coincide with the start of the new academic term and Fresher's Week, on Saturday the 29th of September CUB - Queen Mary's only Arts and Culture Magazine- is launching its first social event: CUB Fest. A chilled jamming session/music festival hosted in Mile End Park to welcome current students and new students to Queen Mary, and also to generate more members and contributors for the magazine. CUB has joined forces with the Music Society to recruit talented students to perform exclusively for one afternoon only. It is a FREE event and a chance for students to meet all of the new team and also to meet new friends. We are encouraging everyone who comes along to bring their own blanket, and food and drink to make it as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
