Welcome! We are a society dedicated to celebrating the art of filmmaking, with a central goal of encouraging members to express their creativity and individuality to the fullest extent, as well as to connect and collaborate with likeminded creatives. 

Becoming a member allows you access to a community of fellow filmmakers, resources to fully develop your skills, and a platform to display your work and share with others.

We encourage students from all levels of experience to join, there are plenty of resources for beginners and experts alike.

WORKSHOPS

• Don't worry if you're a beginner - we will be holding practical workshops to help you learn the basics

• This will be useful for members who are aspiring towards a career in film, TV, and related industries - learning these skills will boost your employability and improve your CV!

• Workshops will be held both in person and via video call, depending on what is most appropriate for the content

SHORT FILM PROJECTS

• Projects where members can collaborate to produce their own short film using university equipment

• The society will promote your film and enter it into festivals

• Participation will be optional, so if you don't feel you have time to commit, or would rather have a smaller role, that's absolutely fine!
