Chess are known to be a highly educational game that develops logic and tactic. These are very useful and important skills to develop as a future medical trainees.
During the pandemic a lot of students felt detached from the year group (due to travel restrictions and lockdowns). Chess would help many of us to join together (online for now and face-to-face when possible) to play and spend some quality time together.
One of the benefits of the game is the development of logic, tactic and critical thinking. 'Malta Chess' would help developing them through regular games and teaching sessions.
It is usually mistakenly assumed that chess is boring, dull and uneventful game. We as a team are ready to fight that stereotype
We provide all the equipment and if you aren't sure whether you are ready to join- always feel free to pop in and give it a try!
