The Queen Mary Trading and Investment Society. We aim to educate members on how to trade and invest profitably, as well as providing them with support CV writing and interview skills.
QMTIS is the largest and oldest student-managed Finance & Investment Club at Queen Mary, University of London. Our mission is to allow students to develop a certain interest and a broader and more in-depth knowledge of everything there is around the world of finance and investing. We pursue our mission by connecting our members with companies and professionals through events, activities, and workshops.
Society background:
Established in 2009, QMTIS is the most prestigious and subscribed finance-related society at Queen Mary, University of London. QMTIS was founded with the objective to provide a solid platform for ambitious students to learn and network. We have been growing ever since.
Our weekly sessions, which involve presentations from our members and technical skills coaching, offer students the opportunity to discover where their interests and strengths lie.
Furthermore, members benefit from a range of interactive workshops with professionals from the City, panel events and our guest speaker series.

Education
To provide a platform for students to discover where their interests lie and to follow their passion. Members learn from world-renowned speakers and industry experts during office visits and guest-speaker series.

Provide a platform for high performing students with keen interests in macroeconomics, financial markets and investment research to gain hands-on experience that will benefit them in their early careers.
