Aspire Volunteering Group -
Aspire is a student-led volunteering group which aims to inspire, engage and develop understanding of disability sports within the local youth. Our project is inspired by the London 2012 Olympic legacy, focusing on Paralympics. Our volunteers visit local primary schools in Tower Hamlets, delivering fun and unique sessions to encourage and inspire young children to stay active whilst learning the importance of inclusiveness within sports.

2021/2022 Objectives:
Due to current events this year looks a bit different but it is also the perfect time to give back to the community! This semester will involve recruiting volunteers and preparing them for when volunteering is possible.
Throughout the year Aspire will also be holding student-led fundraising events for various charities and holding training events for our volunteers. In semester B Aspire will hold our annual Open Sports Day in collaboration with QMUL Community Sports.
We also want to help volunteers gain and further develop various employability skills like leadership, teamwork, time-management, creativity and communication.
