Barts & the London RFC is the oldest sports club in the University, with a long history of consistently being one of the most successful sports clubs. We play in BUCS and in the United Hospitals Cup, the oldest rugby competition in the world.
We welcome players of all abilities and experience and pride ourselves on our team ethic, catering for players from academy level to those who have never picked up a rugby ball. We are an all-inclusive club with opportunities for all levels of player
This year we have celebrated our 154th Season, and we welcome anyone who wants to be part of this history to come down and see what we’ve got to offer.
Join us for a meet and greet curry after the Freshers fayre to meet current players and other Freshers.
On the Monday after the curry there will be a training session so that you can try out rugby and see whether we’re the club for you. You will also meet the coaches and the other members of the club.
A full day of basic skills for new players will be organised with the older more experienced players in the club, and a fun social afterwards to get everyone together.
THERE IS NO SELECTION PROCESS. If you want to play rugby at Bart’s and the London, we WILL provide that opportunity, be it in BUCS1 or in more of a social rugby environment.
