YGAM Community Development Manager

YGAM have a unique opportunity for students to get involved with a charity making a real impact on digital resilience and reducing gambling related harms. They are currently seeking students from Bucks New University, Brighton University and Queen Mary – University of London

This is not your standard “student job”. You will be working within an agile start-up charity, to drive our engagement with students. You will be running awareness campaigns, delivering presentations and working with the community around the university. The post will require flexible working up to a maximum of 16 hours a week with and is paid at the real living wage.

The post holder will be expected to be a key part of the delivery of YGAM’s university and student strategy. The post holder will be accountable for hitting our delivery targets in their university and building relationships with the university, students’ union and local community. YGAM are seeking somebody who has an outgoing and confident personality and is highly self-motivated, being able to show strong independent working skills. If you are organised, and the drive and have the determination to make this opportunity a success within a start-up organisation we can provide training, support and employment experiences that will provide the opportunity to make a real difference to students and develop outstanding employability skills.

Location: Work from home with occasional travel.

Salary: Hourly, Real living wage (currently £10.20 p.h. in London)
