Course Rep Training
We know that effective representatives are trained not born, so the Students' Union provides full training and support for all Course Reps.
Course Reps learn and develop valuable skills that help to improve their employability. All Course Reps are invited to a special awards ceremony at the end of the year where they receive a certificate to recognise their contribution.
This page contains details of the training courses available for Course Reps and links to our booking system.
In order to qualify for a Course Rep Contribution Award, all First Year and other newly elected undergraduate Course Reps must attend an introductory training session on 'How to be an Effective Course Representative', while all Postgraduate Reps need to attend a 'Postgraduate Course and Community Representative' training session.
All Senior Reps must attend a 'Senior Course Representative' training session to refresh their knowledge and learn new information related specifically to their senior role.
