Summer Play Scheme Volunteer - Hestia Housing & Support 

16 July - 5 September

Hestia Housing & Support works across London and has 45 years of experience of providing housing, care and support services to people with mental health needs in a range of services. During their summer play scheme, Hestia enables the children and family workers to help the families have the most fun they can! This role would be assisting children and family workers in refuges across London. You would be working with families fleeing Domestic violence and human trafficking. Volunteers will receive a full training session beforehand.

Summer Camp Volunteer - Kith & Kids

Kith & Kids is a charity which provides much needed support to families who have children with a learning disability or autism. They are looking for volunteers to support our members with a learning disability to engage and take part in a wide range of fun activities together on our residential camp. Volunteers will also be providing care for our members with their day to day routines. You will be required to attend two training sessions and various training workshops.

Media Volunteering Opportunities - Expressions with Art

Expressions with Art is an art organisation for adults with mental health issues both in the past and present. They are seeking volunteers to contribute with advertising, marketing, journalism or photography to capture stories and events to highlight the achievements and benefits of the project.

Children's Holiday Volunteer - Sickle Cell Society 

The Sickle Cell Society is the only charity in the UK that supports and represents people affected by sickle cell disease to improve their overall quality of life. They are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated volunteers to help us on their annual children's holiday for 8-16 year olds living with Sickle Cell Disorder.

Humanitarian Aid charity with various opportunities in Waltham Forest:

Shop Team Member: Lend a helping hand in the charity shop. 4 hours/week.

Oxfam Books: Manage incoming book donations, prepare books for pricing, and research unusual books for the charity shop. 4 hours/week.

Walthamstow Online: Build online business, access new market places, and help Oxfam make the best profit on donated items. 4 hours/week.

CCHF All About Kids- Residential Activity Break Volunteer

CCHF All About Kids runs Activity Breaks for disadvantaged children mainly from London (aged 7-11). Volunteers motivate children to engage with camp activities, which take place on weekend weekend and/or five night residential camps throughout the year.
