School of Physics & Astronomy Rep

About the role

The School of Physics and Astronomy Representative collects feedback from students in the school and represents students’ interests. They’ll be able to work on lots of different aspects of the student experience, including feedback, assessments, teaching, employability and student support. They’ll also be responsible for chairing the School Forum for Course Representatives, and will work with the Vice President Science and Engineering to address issues that are affecting S&E students.

Shey Dylan Lovett

I am a second-year student on the BSc Physics course, the Vice President of PsiStar (Physics and Astronomy Society) and a student ambassador for the physics department. I believe I will be effective as SPA rep due to my involvement and experience with both the physics department and student’s union.

Sharafina Binti Razin

Hello! My name is Sharafina and I’m a first year Astrophysics student with a keen interest to learn about and represent the school. As School Rep, I would focus on enriching the learning experience, promoting mental health awareness and creating a stronger bond between students within the school.
