About this event

Breast Surgery Workshop Series – October

To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are excited to launch our Breast Surgery Workshop Series, introducing medical students to the specialty while raising funds and awareness for breast cancer.

Each session will feature a guest speaker sharing their journey into breast surgery, followed by an interactive practical workshop providing students with hands-on experience of different breast surgical techniques.

Our second session will be a Sentinel Node Biopsy Workshop, led by Ms Nidhi Garg, Consultant Breast Surgeon at Whipps Cross Hospital. Ms garg will discuss her pathway into breast surgery before leading a practical session exploring the principles and techniques of node biopsies.

Join us this October to learn about breast surgery, develop practical skills, and support a meaningful cause.
